Teen Driving

For some parents, the realization that their child is eligible to start the driving process may be alarming. At Bond Driving School, we help make the transition as smooth as possible by offering a one hour training class. The class will inform parents of laws that pertain to them. The instructor will also answer questions that parents may have.

The instructors at Bond Driving School are licensed by the DMV. In order to get a DMV instructor license our instructors are fingerprinted and background checked. The DMV also administers a written and a behind the wheel road test. Instructors are also trained by our own AAA certified driving instructor trainer, as well as taking continuing education classes throughout the year given by the Driving School Association of California.

*Bond Driving School will offer all State, County and City employees a 20% discount on any package pricing for Adult or for teens as long as parent or legal guardian are employed in any of the branches.

A employee ID must be faxed to Bond Driving School for discount or a regular price will be charged.

Bond Driving School will also give 15% of to any students that have parents or legal guardian that is employed as School district in any of our covered area.

Bond Driving School will give 20% off if your parents or legal guardian are teachers in K-University level.

TeenSMART
The teenSMART program is a computer program that is designed to reduce high risk driving in teenagers. The program focuses on six factors: Speed control, space management, risk perception, visual search, hazard recognition and lifestyle issues. Those six factors were the main cause of accidents in new driver’s. For more information please call the office.


Drivers Education
Driver’s Education is a 30-hour classroom course given on the weekends from 8:15
am to 3:30 pm. This course follows the guidelines set by the DMV, which prepares a
student for the written test and obtain a instructional permit. The Driver’s
Education also covers topics about drinking and driving and how to maintain your
vehicle, as set forth by DMV guidelines.

Driver’s Training
Driver’s Training is given in 1 1/2 hour lessons. Our instructors follow the guidelines
set by the DMV. We also give the students a checklist, so students and their
parents can know what the instructors have covered, and know what the student
needs to work on. Minors that need to complete 6 hours of training are given four
lessons.

Advanced Driving Techniques
Our Advanced Driving Techniques program (ADT) is offered to improve established
driving skills and reduce stress and road rage. These lessons may also reduce
insurance costs. Check with your insurance company.

Traffic School
Our Traffic Violators School (TVS) is an 8 hour course to prevent a point from
being added to you driving record, in addition to being an informative class that can
be taken to reduce insurance costs.

Vehicles
Bond Driving School provides vehicles equipped with instructor brake and mirror.
All of our cars are the newest model of the Toyota Corolla. All are four-door
sedans, and have automatic transmissions. While in our vehicles, the student is
covered by our insurance company.

Office
Our trained office staff is here to answer any questions six days a week. We have
a computerized scheduling program for fast, efficient scheduling and record
keeping.
